it's an Experience

This Is More Than a Photo Shoot.

Most teens show up nervous. Some are shy, unsure, or totally convinced they’re not photogenic. Parents don’t always know what to expect either—they just want something better than the basic school photos and a few frame-worthy prints.

But by the time they leave the reveal session? Everything has changed.

It’s the Moment They See Themselves for the First Time.

Your story deserves more than a photoshoot. It deserves to be seen—clearly, softly, truthfully.

$199 session fee includes:

Albums, Wall Art, Prints and Digitals sold separately. No purchase is necessary, however, most families invest 1400 at the reveal session.

Once you're booked, we dive into the planning together—because this session isn’t one-size-fits-all.

You’ll get a prep guide that covers everything from what to expect to my favorite local spots for hair, makeup, and outfits. But I don’t just hand it off and leave you hanging. I’m there to help you style your teen’s entire look if you want it—choosing outfits that photograph beautifully, feel like them, and work together across multiple locations.

We’ll also work together to choose the perfect shoot locations. Whether that’s downtown Lansing with gritty walls and urban vibes, a peaceful park, a local field, or somewhere totally personal—we pick spots that match their personality, their energy, and the story they want to tell.

Everything about this session is intentional—from wardrobe to lighting to the exact moment they realize, “Holy crap... that’s me?”

the planning

The day of the shoot is where everything shifts.

We meet at one of your chosen locations—urban downtown, open park, a sports field under the lights, wherever feels most them. The session is relaxed, fun, and full of little moments where everything just clicks.

I’m there to guide every step.
Posing. Prompts. Flyaways. Hype. Humor.

What I’m really watching for isn’t just the lighting—it’s the moment your teen gets it. That “ohhh damn… that’s me?” moment. It always happens. Sometimes early. Sometimes near the end. But when it does? You’ll see it in their face.

And then comes the part where everything comes full circle.

the day

The reveal session is where the story unfolds.

You and your teen come in and sit down. On the screen? One image—big, bold, and beautiful. And it hits.
I see the reactions right away—the soft smiles, the sharp inhales, the tears starting to well.

We sit down together, go through every image, and only keep the ones that make you feel something. No pressure, no obligation—just the portraits you can’t stop looking at.

From there, we look at album options, wall art, and products that fit your family. I show you what each piece would look like in your own space using custom design software. I bring samples. You touch the textures. See the details. Feel the difference.

Some families spend a little. Some go all out. Most fall somewhere around $1400.
No one ever walks away feeling pressured. They leave feeling proud.

And about 3–4 weeks later, I deliver your artwork by hand—unless you're not local, then it ships safely to your door.

the reveal

Easy. Hit the Contact Me button, fill out the quick form, and I’ll be in touch to schedule a consultation call. From there, we’ll talk through the full experience, lock in a date, and once your session fee is paid—you’re officially booked. After that, we start planning every detail to make it unforgettable.

how do we book?

Not at all. The reveal session is where we look through everything together and decide what you actually love. No pressure, no obligation—just the freedom to choose what matters most to your family.

Do I have to know what we want to order before the shoot?

Perfect. Most of my clients feel that way at first. I don’t expect anyone to show up knowing how to pose or what to do—that’s my job. I guide everything from start to finish, and I promise it won’t feel stiff or awkward. By the end of the session, they’ll be laughing, feeling themselves, and forgetting they ever said, “I’m not photogenic.”

What if my teen is nervous or hates being in front of the camera?
